We want your consignment experience to be exceptional and easy!
Here's how it works:

Drop and Run

Bring your items in without an appointment! New consignors will fill out their contact information and tell us if you want items that we can’t accept or that do not sell be returned or donated.

Pricing 

• We’ll price competitively based on your gear’s “pre-owned” category, its age, and condition. Have a particular price in mind? Tell us so we can see what’s possible.

• For individual items priced up to $250, you receive 40% of the sales price. For items priced over $250, you receive 50% of the sales price. Prefer to turn cash into store credit? We offer an extra 10% off your purchase every time you use your store credit.

• We will make our best effort to sell your items quickly and at the full price before your consignment period is up. At times, items may be discounted at our discretion.

• Want cash for your sold items? Just call ahead 24hrs to request a check or we can mail it to you for a $2 fee to cover postage and handling costs. After 12 months, unused funds are transferred to store credit. After 24 months of account inactivity, all funds will be forfeited and the account considered abandoned.

Timeline

• We will display your items for 90 days with possibility of extension, based on seasonality/demand. After 90 days, you may pick up your items or donate them. Items picked up prior to the 90 day period will be assessed a 15% fee to cover administrative costs in preparing your items for sale.

• Unsold items not picked up after 10 days become the property of Back 2 Adventure. Unsold items may be donated to local schools or other youth organizations. 


Other Details 

• Clean, working items help us display your gear quickly. Please clean and test it first. Items requiring cleaning by our team are subject to a 10% reduction in proceeds. Items such as bikes that require service will have the repairs deducted from the proceeds.

• Our goal is to keep your items safe and damage-free. Our required disclaimer is that we are 
not responsible for loss due to theft, flood, fire or acts completely out of our control.

• Pre-owned items are sold “as-is.” We cannot accept faulty gear and we’ll test it out for 
functionality. We highly encourage you to get certain items (bicycles, etc.) checked by a local retailer specializing in that product to ensure product safety.
